DAY 1 Welcome to Brisbane

Feel the youthful vibrancy of this modern forward-looking city as you arrive into Brisbane. You will be personally met at the airport by a DISCOVER AUSTRALIA representative and transferred from the airport to your hotel. You can relax and use the rest of the day to explore your hotel and its facilities, perhaps take a stroll around the neighbourhood and central Brisbane.

DAY 2 Brisbane Tour

This afternoon the tour offers a relaxing afternoon at Southbank where you can choose to take a stroll through the award winning Bougainvillea Arbour or perhaps join a Brisbane River Cruise through the scenic heart of the city, see the spectacular views of waterfront homes, the Brisbane skyline, South Bank parklands and cruise under Story Bridge. DAY 3 Moreton Island Cruise, Tangalooma Island Resort & Dolphins

DAY 4 Australia Zoo & Sunshine Coast

CRIKEY! Australia Zoo is one of the best wildlife conservation facilities in the world nestled on the Sunshine Coast. Made famous by Steve, Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin in their global documentaries, the sheer amount and variety of mammals, reptiles, birds and attractions here is mind-blowing. Throw out your old ideas about the ultimate zoo experience, here you will be invited to get up close and personal, hand-feed and maybe cuddle the wildlife. The five-thousand capacity Crocoseum hosts various crocodile, snake and bird shows, whilst the African Safari exhibit replicates the Serengeti complete with zebras, rhinos and giraffes.

Today you can experience the thrilling and action packed wildlife shows and meet many of the 1200 animals across the 100 acres of the world famous Australia Zoo. You'll experience wildlife like nowhere else. There are several walk-through enclosures where you can be up close and personal with the animals, and benefit from Steve's Safari Shuttle hosted by friendly and knowledgeable guides to assist you in your exploration of this incredible sanctuary.

We tour north from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, past the magnificent Glasshouse Mountains and onto Australia Zoo. Steve and Terri Irwin's vision has always been to make Australia Zoo the biggest and best wildlife conservation facility in the entire world, and indeed there is no other zoo like Australia Zoo. Don't miss the slithering, swooping, jaw-snapping action of the Wildlife Warrior Show in the massive Crocoseum stadium. Today explore Brisbane at your own pace. There is so much to choose from in this major city. The many major attractions include Queen Street Mall (vibrant shopping and lifestyle precinct lies at the heart of Brisbane), various markets, The Gabba, ANZAC Square War Memorial, City Botanic Gardens (Brisbane's oldest park, originally planted by convicts in 1825), Roma Street Parkland (spectacular subtropical plant displays, sweeping vistas and unique artwork), Queensland Museum and Sciencentre (home to millions of objects, specimens and artefacts that tell the changing story of Queensland), Queensland Art Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art (state's premier visual arts institution), The Courier-Mail Piazza (entertainment hub), Maritime Museum, Performing Arts Centre, Conservatorium and of course South Bank (17 hectares of lush parklands, world-class eateries, stunning river views and hundreds of delightful events all year round make it the perfect place to relax and unwind).
