DAY 1 Fly to Adelaide

Fly to Adelaide and feel the history and culture of 'The City of Churches'. You will be personally met at the airport by a DISCOVER AUSTRALIA representative and transferred from the airport to your hotel. You can relax and use the rest of the day to explore your hotel and its facilities, perhaps take a stroll around the neighbourhood and central Adelaide.

DAY 2 Adelaide Luxury Coach Tour

Adelaide is famous for stylish architecture, beautiful parklands, boutique shopping, cafe strips, sandy swimming beaches, fabulous arts events, festivals, nightlife, and sandstone cottages with sweeping gardens. The diverse cultural mix of its population guarantees that the food is sensational. Adelaide is Australia's wine capital and lies between rolling hills to the east and beautiful sandy beaches to the west, with world class vineyards within easy reach.

Your friendly driver will pick you up in the comfortable air-conditioned luxury coach before sharing experiences, fascinating facts and enchanting stories in the onboard full commentary throughout the morning. Today see Victoria Square (heart of Adelaide City), Gouger Street (restaurant cafe strip), King William Street's famous boulevard, The Terraces (4 terraces that separate the city from its greenbelts) and Adelaide's magnificent parks, gardens and greenbelts. See River Torrens with its delightful garden banks, Parliament House, State Library, Trinity Church (Adelaide's oldest church), and fashionable Hutt Street. See Beehive Corner at Rundle Mall, Adelaide Oval (one of Australia's most notable cricket grounds and houses the Bradman collection), the quaint suburbs of historic North Adelaide and St Peter's Cathedral. See the National Wine Centre of Australia and Adelaide’s Cultural Boulevard of North Terrace - drive by the University, Library, Art Gallery & Museum.

DAY 3 Explore Adelaide

The beautiful city of Adelaide offers a seductive mix of sensational food and wine with fantastic cultural, art and shopping opportunities, the city is the gateway to some of Australia's premier wine regions and the vibrant city centre is abuzz with lively cafes, bars and restaurants, historic buildings, wide streets and manicured parklands add to the city's wonderful aesthetic appearance.

Spend the day exploring Adelaide at your own leisure.

DAY 4 Adelaide to Kangaroo Island

Enjoy a relaxed morning to explore more of Adelaide before your friendly local driver picks you up in a comfortable air-conditioned coach and shares experiences, fascinating facts and enchanting stories in the on-board full commentary. Board the ferry to Kangaroo Island and spend time at Penneshaw.  

Enjoy a free evening in delightful Penneshaw where you can explore the local eateries and perhaps take a stroll to admire the spectacular coastline and bask in a beautiful Kangaroo Island sunset.

DAY 5 Tour Kangaroo Island

Kangaroo Island is home to a wealth of spectacular natural surrounds and abundant and diverse wildlife including sea-lions, kangaroos, koalas and penguins, dramatic rock formations, sparkling turquoise waters and sensational sandy beaches.  

Our incredible Kangaroo Island tour commences today with a visit to Seal Bay Conservation Park where we enjoy a guided beach walk with an experienced guide amongst a colony of rare Australian Sea lions. Get up close and see these wild creatures frolic and laze about – a truly amazing and unforgettable experience. We then enjoy a delicious two course lunch. 

From here, we journey to the western side of the island to uncover the wonders of Flinders Chase National Park. Watch for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles, and koalas as we explore iconic landmarks such as Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Wander the Admirals Arch boardwalk as it carries you down a rugged cliff face to reveal the spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals. 

Our last stop of the day is Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where we can feed kangaroos and get up close to the Kangaroo Island Koalas while listening to the Keeper talk about these loveable mammals. We then board the ferry on our return to the mainland and relax back on the coach to Adelaide with a heart full of wonderful memories that will last forever.

DAY 6 Say Goodbye to Adelaide

Domestic border restrictions have ended for nearly all States, meaning you:
