Day 1 Launceston to Bicheno
Discover St Columbus Falls, with its ancient rainforest backdrop, before continuing through the changing landscape of heritage farms, rainforest and mining towns.
Experience the breathtaking Bay of Fires, where you can stroll along the gleaming white sands or take a swim in the turquoise waters.
Spend the night at the seaside town of Bicheno, where you can choose to take a tour to see Little Penguins nesting (own expense).
Day 2 Bicheno to Pt Arthur
Drive into the stunning Freycinet National Park for sweeping views over Wineglass Bay.
Take a hike to Wineglass Beach via the lookout, or choose a more strenuous climb to the top of Mount Amos.
Enjoy the view as you travel along the picturesque Tasman Peninsula to Port Arthur, where you stay tonight.
Perhaps take a spine chilling ghost tour around the penal colony and hear grisly tales and supernatural stories.

Day 3 Pt Arthur to Hobart
Spend the morning exploring the infamous Port Arthur Historic Site and take a boat cruise around the harbour.
Visit Remarkable Cave and a range of other sites on the Tasman Peninsula as you travel to Hobart. Overnight: Hostel
Day 4 Hobart
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the sights of Hobart.
Perhaps take a Derwent River cruise on board the historical square rigger - the Lady Nelson, tour the Cascade Brewery or the Cadbury Chocolate Factory, visit the Antarctic Adventure or take a trip up Mt Wellington.
Day 5 Hobart to Strahan
Travel to Mount Field National Park, where you can stretch your legs on the Russell and Tall Trees Walks.
Continue on to Lake St Clair for a view of Australias deepest lake.
Hike and explore the spectacular Franklin Gordon National Park.
Discover the history of the scenic coastal town of Strahan, as your guide fills you in on the stories of pining, mining and convicts.
Day 6 Strahan to Cradle Mountain Region
Take a stroll or a bike ride along Strahans foreshore or up the Water Tower Hill for an awe-inspiring lookout over Macquarie Harbour and Ocean Beach.
Walk through a rainforest to Hogarth Falls, and keep an eye out for the elusive platypus.
Explore the Henty Sand Dunes, where youll have the chance to take a quad bike tour (own expense).
Visit the historic Silver City of Zeehan, before continuing to your overnight accommodation.

Day 7 Cradle Mountain to Devonport
Discover the World Heritage Cradle National Park.
Enjoy the pure air with a walk around Dove Lake, or challenge yourself with a more strenuous hike to view Cradle Mountain.
Spend this afternoon exploring more of the states mid north before your arrival in Devonport.
Day 8 Devonport to Launceston
Its a short journey through farming country to Launceston where your adventure ends.
