Day 1 Hobart to Strahan
Travel to Mount Field National Park, and stretch your legs on the Russell Falls and Tall Trees walks. Continue on to Lake St Clair for a view of Australia's deepest lake.
Hike and explore the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, famous for its pristine rivers snaking through the wilderness.
Arrive at the historic coastal township of Strahan, where your guide will fill you in on the amazing history of pining, mining and convicts.

Day 2 Strahan to Cradle Mountain Region
Spend the morning exploring the intriguing history of Strahan.
Take a stroll along the foreshore or up the Water Tower Hill for a fantastic lookout over Macquarie Harbour and Ocean Beach.
Walk through a rainforest to Hogarth Falls, where you may be lucky enough to spot a platypus. If you are feeling more adventurous, arrange with your guide to canoe in a nearby lake.
Explore Henty Sand Dunes, where you can take a quad bike tour (at own expense). Visit the 'Silver City' of Zeehan, and enjoy a leisurely afternoon bike ride.

Day 3 Cradle Mountain to Devonport
Discover the World Heritage Cradle National Park.
Enjoy a guided walk around beautiful Dove Lake taking in the fresh air.Tackle a more strenuous unguided bush walk to view Cradle Mountain.
Enjoy your overnight stay in the beautiful port city of Devonport.

Day 4 Devonport to Bicheno
St Columbus Falls, with its ancient rainforest back drop is your first stop today. Continue through the changing landscape of heritage farms, forests and mining towns.
Spend the afternoon at the breathtaking Bay of Fires, where you can take a stroll along the gleaming white sands or a swim in the clear turquoise water.
Take an optional tour to see the little penguins nesting (at own expense).

Day 5 Bicheno to Port Arthur
Experience the stunning Freycinet National Park.
Tackle the challenging but worthwhile climb up Mount Amos for fantastic views over Wineglass Bay.
You have the chance to hike to Wineglass Beach.
Travel south to Port Arthur enjoying a rainforest walk on the way. In Port Arthur you have the opportunity to take the famous ghost tour (optional, at own expense).

Day 6 Port Arthur to Hobart
Explore the interesting Port Arthur Historic Site which served as a penal colony from 1830 to 1877.
Take a boat cruise around the harbour.
Visit Remarkable Cave and a variety of sites on the Tasman Peninsula before arriving in Hobart late afternoon.
