Travel to Mount Field National Park, where you can stretch your legs on the Russell Falls and Tall Trees Walks.
Continue on to Lake St Clair for a view of Australias deepest lake.
On the way to Strahan, hike and explore the Franklin Gordon National Park.
Hear the fascinating history of Strahan as your guide fills you in on pining, mining, and convicts.
Day 2 Strahan to Cradle Mountain Region
Take a stroll or a bike ride along the foreshore or up the Water Tower Hill for a priceless lookout over Macquarie Harbour and Ocean Beach.
Walk through a rainforest to Hogarth Falls, keeping an eye out for the elusive platypus.
Explore Henty Sand Dunes, where there is a chance to take a quad bike tour (at own expense).
Discover the historic Silver City of Zeehan.

Day 3 Cradle Mountain to Devonport
Experience the World Heritage Cradle National Park.
Enjoy the pure air with a guided walk around the beautiful Dove Lake, or challenge yourself with a more strenuous hike to view Cradle Mountain.Spend the afternoon exploring more of the states mid-north before your arrival in Devonport.
Day 4 Devonport to Bicheno
Discover St Columbus Falls, with its ancient rainforest backdrop.
Continue through the changing landscapes of heritage farms, rainforest and mining towns and spend the afternoon at the breathtaking Bay of Fires.
Take a stroll along the gleaming white sands or swim in the turquoise waters, before travelling to the seaside town of Bicheno.
After dinner, you can choose to take a tour to see the Little Penguins nesting (at own expense).Overnight: Hostel
Day 5 Bicheno to Pt Arthur
Drive into the stunning Freycinet National Park for sweeping views over Wineglass Bay.
Hike to Wineglass Beach via the lookout, or choose to take a more strenuous hike to Mount Amos.
Enjoy the view as you travel along the picturesque Tasman Peninsula to Port Arthur.
Perhaps take a spine chilling Ghost Tour and hear supernatural tales of the past and present (own expense).

Day 6 Pt Arthur to Hobart
Spend the morning exploring the infamous Port Arthur Historic Site and take a boat cruise around the harbour.
Visit the Remarkable Cave and other amazing sites on the Tasman Peninsula as you travel on to Hobart.
Day 7 Hobart to Launceston
Travel north along the historic Midland Highway, passing numerous colonial inns and quaint villages, including Bagdad, Oatlands and Campbelltown.
Stop in Ross, where youll have the chance to see Australias oldest convict built bridge.
