Day 1 Darwin to katherine

Day 2 Katherine to Darwin
Learn about the history of Katherine with a visit to the Katherine Museum. View the artefacts, maps, photographs and farming displays that the museum houses.
Encounter the Cutta Cutta Caves, the only accessible tropical limestone caves in the Northern Territory. Observe the fascinating formations from 15 metres underground.
Discover how children living in isolated outback learn through Interactive Distance Learning programmes at the School of the Air in Katherine. Observe displays about the history of the school and have the possibility of listening in on a lesson.
Unwind by taking a swim at the nearby Mataranka Thermal Pool. The crystal water provides a beautiful swimming spot that is surrounded by palm trees. Return to Darwin later in the day travelling onboard The Ghan.
