Giant cores of extinct volcanoes are found within the Glass House Mountains National Park, with scenic walking trails and drives through the mountains take in these spectacular natural wonders. North of Mooloolaba, Mt Coolum National Park features beautiful cascading waterfalls and magnificent views over the Maroochy coast from the summit of Mt Coolum.
