DAY 3 Katherine Gorge Luxury Day Tour & Cruise
Set-off this morning for a day filled with spectacular and unique Territory scenery and rich human stories. Experience the grandeur of Katherine Gorge's dramatic setting of towering rock wall ramparts protruding out of the banks of the Katherine River, learn some of the ancient Aboriginal Dreamtime stories, see prolific birdlife and cruise through this spectacular gorge. Discover Edith Falls (cascading down the sheer rock wall face into a paperbark encompassed plunge pool), Pine Creek, and the take time at the well maintained Adelaide River War Cemetery to get a real sense of modern Australian history.
Your friendly driver will pick you up in the comfortable air-conditioned luxury coach before sharing experiences, fascinating facts and enchanting stories in the onboard full commentary throughout the day. Head south from Darwin on the Stuart Highway, see endless outback scrub and World War II airstrips. Take a break at Adelaide River, visit Adelaide River War Cemetery (with memorial of the Darwin air raids in the 1940's), spot for wallabies, travel the western side of Nitmiluk National Park to the spectacular Edith Falls (perhaps take a swim in the waterhole below the falls or relax on the grassy banks). Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park. Take a two hour guided tour and scenic cruise through Katherine Gorge (look for freshwater crocodiles on the banks) - marvelling at the stark, sheer, richly coloured escarpments of the Katherine Gorge canyon. Tour through the outback township of Katherine (third largest in the Territory), stop at Adelaide River (perhaps purchase the local delicacy 'Barra and chips'). Arrive back into Darwin with your camera full of wonderful new memories.

DAY 4 Jumping Crocodiles
Enjoy some free-time this morning to explore Darwin before you set off for an exciting afternoon.
Travel inland to cruise a section of the Adelaide River and witness saltwater crocodiles close up as they leap out of the water to snatch their food. The Adelaide River starts in Litchfield National Park and is well known for its high concentration of saltwater crocodiles, along with other wildlife including white-bellied sea eagles, whistling kites, freshwater crocodiles, bull sharks and black flying-fox. An excellent opportunity to observe these primeval creatures as you cruise along the Adelaide River.
Today you will cruise the Adelaide River in crocodile infested waters, watch as your guide entices wild saltwater crocodiles to jump and snatch their food (witnessing crocodiles in a relatively close situation), visit Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre (educational display with sweeping views over the wetlands, plus see birds of prey scavenge for leftovers), see Fogg Dam Nature Reserve (Top End wetlands eco system with an abundance of birds and reptiles). Today is an amazing adventure.

DAY 5 Litchfield National Park
This is a truly beautiful and spiritual destination. The iconic Litchfield National Park is famous for stunning cascading tropical waterfalls, warm swimming holes, the Tabletop Range sandstone plateau, monsoon tropical rainforests, intriguing magnetic termite mounds and ancient aboriginal sites of the Wagait people. Significant attractions include Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole, Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls, Tjaetaba Falls, Tjaynera Falls (Sandy Creek), Surprise Creek Falls, Blyth Homestead and Bamboo Creek.
Today you will discover Litchfield, including Florence Falls, the termite mounds, Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls, Buley Rockhole and will have the opportunity to take a dip in refreshing natural plunge pools boarded by magnificent pandanas palms.
We skirt Francis Bay on Darwin Harbour, head south out of Darwin on the Stuart Highway, take a short break at the town of Batchelor, stop at the Meridean Termite Mounds (learn about Cathedral and Magnetic Termite Mounds), visit Florence Falls (stunning views, perhaps walk down to the plunge pool for a swim in this beautiful oasis), visit Buley Rockhole (cascades and many rockpools offer an opportunity for a refreshing swim), perhaps take a walk to Tolmer Falls (breathtaking valley with a waterfall and distant views toward the coast over cattle stations), see monsoon forests and woodland areas, enjoy a homestyle lunch (with cold meats, salad and tea or coffee), visit Wangi Falls and plunge pool (perhaps take a dip or a stroll through lush tropical forest or relax and just take it all in). Head back to Darwin, reflecting on your enchanting day of enriching experiences on this beautiful and spiritual land.

DAY 6 Tour from Darwin to Wildman Luxury Kakadu Lodge

Tour through Palmerston, cross the mighty Adelaide River, and into Mary River National Park to the Wildman Wilderness Lodge in the Mary River wetlands, your home for the next three nights.

DAY 7 Kakadu Luxury 4WD Tour
Located 240 kilometres east of Darwin, Kakadu National Park is Australia’s largest National Park spanning a massive 20000 square kilometres! It encompasses wetlands, rivers, and huge sandstone escarpments.
Enjoy an early pick up this morning and travel along the Arnhem Highway to world famous Kakadu National Park. Stop by the South Alligator River on your way to Ubirr Rock, one of the most famous sites of this World Heritage National Park. Ubirr Rock is famous for its rock art and get take in the three main galleries of art that are accessible to visitors. Climb to the top of the Rock to take in magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding floodplains and escarpments.
After lunch by East Alligator River, walk to Cahills Crossing to spot crocodiles. Later, visit the Mamukala observation platform for stunning views of the surrounding wetlands and experience the incredible variety of the National Park’s birdlife.
Return to Wildman Wilderness Lodge later this afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.

DAY 8 Home Billabong Cruise & Explore Wildman
Today spend the day exploring the Wildman Wilderness Lodge. Take a 1 hour cruise along cruise along the Home Billabong this morning. Take in the ever changing ecosystem with your experienced guide who will give you an insight into the flora and fauna of the region.
Later enjoy an optional airboat safari across the wetlands or just make use of lodge’s facilities.
