Days 2 – 3 At Sea

Today you will port at the "Seafood Capital of Australia" - not only a beautiful township overlooking Boston Bay, Port Lincoln is the ideal base to explore the coast and experience the Eyre Peninsula first hand. For the adventurous, shark cage diving or swimming with the Australian sea lions is a must. Day 6 Cruise to Melbourne

Today, venture into Melbourne - a super stylish, eclectic and always-exciting metropolis with plenty of sophisticated charm and surprises to enjoy. Hailed as Australia's "Garden City," famed for the parks and gardens surrounding it you could experience Melbourne's sights and sounds on a panoramic drive about town. Learn about one of the "most liveable cities in the world" and how it grew from the banks of the Yarra. Enjoy a different perspective of the city as your sail along the undisputed social heart of marvellous Melbourne – the Yarra River.
 
Perhaps travel to the eucalyptus forests and revel in rugged forest gorges and fern gullies of the Blue Dandenong Range on a ride aboard Australia's oldest operating steam railway, explore the Yarra Valley, one of Australia's premier wine regions or relive the 1850s gold rush at Sovereign Hill.

Day 7 Cruise to Burnie

Tasmania’s most westerly city, portside Burnie on Emu Bay offers wonderful walks, lookouts and wildlife experiences, as well as heritage charm and character to explore. Discover the gorgeous township of Hahndorf and the stunning scenic views from Mount Lofty. Today you’ll head to where the ‘vines meet the sea’. Day 12 Explore Adelaide

Enjoy Adelaide at your leisure today – stroll down the shopping precinct of Rundle Mall, the centrepiece of Adelaide’s city centre and the epicentre of food, culture and lifestyle. Adelaide has the largest fresh produce market in the Southern Hemisphere, explore the historic architecture and colourful flora by travelling the city's streets and spacious squares surrounded by parkland or uncover the story of the early settlers of Australia who travelled across the world to make a new home in a foreign land at the SA Maritime Museum.

Days 13 – 15 Indian Pacific Adelaide to Perth

Spend the day at your leisure before being personally met by a DISCOVER AUSTRALIA representative and transferred to the railway station to board the Indian Pacific and travel along Australia's longest straight stretch of railway. Meet your fellow travellers prior to departure with a complimentary Welcome Dinner at the National Wine Centre, then to be transferred to Adelaide’s Keswick train station to begin your epic journey across the Nullarbor plains... farewell Adelaide as your journey west on the Indian Pacific begins.
