DAYS 1-4 Indian Pacific Sydney to Adelaide to Perth

Fly into Sydney and be personally met at the airport by a DISCOVER AUSTRALIA representative and transferred from the airport to the Indian Pacific railway station to begin your journey to Perth.

Your epic journey from Sydney to Perth takes you along the longest stretch of straight railway track in the world, it's a journey of contrast encompassing some of Australia's most beautiful and diverse landscapes including the magnificent Blue Mountains and the vast empty expanse of the Nullarbor Plain.

As the Indian Pacific arrives into Perth on day 4, you can sense the laid-back pace of this beautiful city fringed between the Indian Ocean and Swan River. DAY 5 Perth City and Fremantle Tour

The beautiful city of Perth is fringed by the Indian Ocean and the Swan River. It has spectacular beaches, a friendly welcoming ambience and a laid back lifestyle dominated by its seemingly perpetual sunny climes. DAY 6 Pinnacles Desert, New Norcia and Wildflowers

Lying in the Nambung National Park, the Pinnacles are a breathtaking wonder of nature. These amazing, natural limestone structures hold an exquisite air of mysticism and intrigue, especially as the sun's warm hue illuminates the magical stones. The gorgeous town of New Norcia is renowned for its wonderful Spanish architecture and unique history. Founded by Spanish Benedictine monks in 1847, New Norcia's quaint streets are full of heritage listed buildings, including the beguiling Monastery, where you can still join the monks for prayer. The Western Australian landscape explodes in a kaleidoscope of colour and beauty as thousands of magnificent wildflowers bloom in a spectacular seasonal show of nature at its most breathtaking.

Today we combine the amazing natural wonder of the Pinnacles Desert with the unique living history of the 170 year old Spanish Benedictine enclave of New Norcia. See Guildford and the fertile Swan Valley en route to New Norcia for a special guided tour of Australia's only monastic town, including the monk's shop for some famous New Norcia nut cake and breads. Visit a Wildflower Farm, the lobster fishing village of Cervantes and enjoy a gentle stroll through the mystical limestone pillars of the Pinnacles Desert.

DAY 7 Swan River Cruise with Special Lunch

The stunning Swan River meanders its way through the beautiful city of Perth, this scenic and vibrant waterway is the city's beating heart. Perth's residents make the most of this wonderful waterway, families picnic on its banks, joggers and cyclists follow its course and boats bob gently on its shimmering waters under endless blue skies. DAY 8 Margaret River and Wineries

The perfect introduction to Broome, your half day tour of the township will take you to all of the major attractions and landmarks, including ancient rocky outcrops and the spectacular coastline. DAY 11 Willie Creek Pearl Farm

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of pearls at Willie Creek Pearl Farm, informative guides take you through the pearl producing process right from the seeding of the oysters to the harvesting and grading of the pearls right through to the dazzling end product which is displayed in showrooms across Australia.

Enjoy a half day morning tour of a Pearl Farm and then enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own pace.

DAY 12 Cape Leveque

Cape Leveque is a pristine and beautiful wilderness located in the far north of the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia, this wonderland of natural beauty is renowned for its white sand beaches, cerulean waters and dramatic ochre cliffs that rise from the ocean, Cape Leveque is a haven for wildlife such as turtles, sea birds and whales.

Spend the day exploring the Dampier Peninsula and all it has to offer. Learn about the art of pearling and view the spectacular Buccaneer Archipelago.

Depart Broome and travel north to explore “Dampier Land” in a Luxury 4WD. Visit the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community and the Beagle Bay Church, home of the pearl shell alter for morning tea. Continue to the Lombadina Aboriginal Community before reaching Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm for lunch. Later travel to the One Arm Point Community to take in views of the Buccaneer Archipelago and witness the spectacular tidal flows of the Kimberley. Visit the Community’s aquaculture hatchery before relaxing on the pristine beaches of Cape Leveque.

DAY 13 Broome Sunset Hovercraft

Skim the emerald waters and sand bars of Roebuck Bay as you embark on a thrilling hovercraft experience, marvel at Broome's glorious coastline and walk amongst the rusting relics of Dutch Catalina flying boats destroyed in WWII lying 1km offshore, see preserved dinosaur footprints at low tide and gaze in awe at sensational sunsets from remote tidal flats.

Enjoy a day of leisure and some free time before experiencing a thrilling Hovercraft flight over Roebuck Bay.

There are many beaches providing access to the tidal flats of the bay, but really there is only one way to venture right out onto the tidal flats, and that is by hovercraft. Gliding along the tidal edge take in the view as Pelicans, Egrets, Osprey and Sea Eagle pass by, whilst marvelling at the dramatic red rich Pindan cliff backdrop as you land on a secluded patch of pristine coastline. As the tide continues to fall you then head off into the Bay, settle down on the sandy sea floor and let your pilots look after you with sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres as the sun finally sets silhouetting the Broome Peninsula whilst glistening off ripples in the tidal floor.

DAY 14 Cable Beach Camel Ride

Broome is a vibrant and cosmopolitan town with a proud pearling history, the town is blessed with a fantastic climate and an abundance of stunning natural beauty, a visit to the Japanese Cemetery where perished Japanese pearl divers are interred brings home the human cost of Broome's colourful pearling history, other attractions include Cable Beach, Matso's Brewery and bustling Chinatown.
