Depart Cairns and travel to Innisfail and the beautiful Cairns Highlands, on into the magnificent Tropical North Queensland Outback and Undara Experience.
Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch before joining your knowledgeable Savannah Guide for a tour of the fascinating Undara Lava Tubes.
The Undara Lava Tubes were formed some 190,000 years ago when a major volcano in the McBride volcanic province erupted, its molten lava flowing down a dry river bed.
As the top layer quickly cooled and crusted, the fiery magma below continued to flow through the tubes taking it further and further from the volcano. After the Lava Tubes enjoy your return journey back to Cairns.
Departs: Daily (June to August) Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (April to May and September to March) at 7.00am.
Returns: 7.30pm
