Day 1 Alice Springs - Rainbow Valley - Kings Canyon

Travel south from Alice Springs, experiencing Heavitree Gap on the Stuart Highway. Turn off east on a dirt road for Rainbow Valley.

Explore Rainbow Valley for an hour. You have the opportunity to take photographs and walks.

Continue travelling through spectacular Outback country to Kings Creek Station.

Set up camp at Kings Creek Station and enjoy your choice of late afternoon activities such as camel rides, riding quad bikes or experiencing a helicopter ride.

Day 2 Kings Canyon - Uluru

Discover Kings Canyon on a 3 hour guided Rim Walk. Admire the sandstone domes of the Lost City, sheer cliff top views along the North and South Walls, and the almost tropical Garden of Eden.

After a refreshing swim, continue on to Uluru through vibrant red sand dune country. Settle in at Yulara - your campsite for the next two nights.

There is plenty of time in the afternoon for scenic flights, relaxing by the pool, having a few drinks or exploring the shops.

Enjoy a sunset viewing of Uluru before taking advantage of the campgrounds excellent facilities.

Day 3 Uluru - Katatjuta - Uluru

Marvel at the incredible rock with sunrise views.

Commence the full 9km base walk taking in the many sacred sites - notably the Mala and Mutitjula waterholes. These small springs have supported life since the Dreamtime.

Be introduced to life in the shadow of Uluru with a ranger-led interpretive walk or visit the Cultural Centre. Time to climb the rock if you choose to or hike the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta.

Enjoy conversation with fellow travel companions around the campsite tonight with a magnificent backdrop.

Day 4 Uluru - Alice Springs

An early morning departure will let you see the sunrise one more time.

Travel on the Stuart Highway once again as you return to Alice Springs
