A warm welcome awaits you from your crew. Settle into your cabin and get to know your fellow travellers with a cocktail or two.

Day 2 Berkeley River to King George River

The Berkeley River is the perfect spot to catch a Barramundi so if you are on board to catch one, an early morning fish is sure to be the right start for your day.

Lace up your walking boots and walk to one of the Kimberleys most picturesque water holes before you head back to the boat for a delectable lunch

Cruise along to Koolama Bay where you have the chance to learn about the wreck that is situated there, following a bombing by the Japanese during WWII. Enjoy a short walk to a plaque erected by a relative of one of the survivors.

Lighten the mood as you venture onto Tranquil Bay for a sunset drink and a chance to pick up some colourful shells. Return to the True North where you will anchor overnight at the mouth of the magnificent King George River.

Day 3 King George Falls

Entry to the mighty King George River is dependant on the tide, so as soon as it is high enough, cross the sand bars and journey upstream to the spectacular King George Falls.

Anchor at the base of the Twin Falls and take this opportunity to go exploring. Whether you crave scenic views, a refreshing swim or an exhilarating climb to the top of the waterfall; the choice is yours.Take the opportunity to board the helicopter and fly over this magnificent vista; visit waterholes, swim at “The Crevice” or just relax with a drink whilst you go in search of fresh oysters on the rocks!

Complete the day with yet another fantastic meal prepared for you by your on board chef; maybe even include some oysters found earlier in the day.

Day 4 King George River to Drysdale River

Soak up the morning sunshine in the glorious splendour of the Twin Falls before slipping away to another mighty Kimberley river, the Drysdale.

The Drysdale is the ideal place for the avid angler to attempt to catch a Mangrove Jack. These delectable, orange coloured fish are a favourite of the True North crew.

Join the tenders as they head up river for some Barramundi fishing, complete with scones and Billy tea.

Spend the afternoon beachcombing or join a scenic flight over Londonderry, West Australias Northern most point.

Day 5 Rock Art and Eagle Falls

Todays itinerary is filled with art and history. Start with an opportunity to see the world famous Bradshaws; ancient rock art that are thought to be the oldest paintings known to man.

Board a helicopter ride and enjoy a picnic atop Eagle Falls, one of the most popular parts of the tour. A scenic flight paired with a mouthwatering feast and a picture perfect location in one of the most remote locations in Australia.

Hard to follow, but finish off the days activities with a stroll along the local beaches and a trip into the rainforest.

Here lies the wreck of a lone bomber that crashed during World War II. Located near the eastern end of Vansittart Bay, this DC3 aircraft is well preserved and will take you back in time.

Day 6 Mitchell River and Mitchell Falls

Spend the morning Barramundi or even crocodile spotting as you head out on one of the expedition boats to the scenic Surveyor Creek. A great place for a swim; out of reach of the local crocodiles.

The keen fishermen will have another chance to catch the elusive Barramundi while those less inclined towards fishing can take the opportunity to board the helicopter to take in visions of this historic landscape, including Mitchell Falls.

The Mitchell Falls is a unique experience as it is only accessible by air, so take this opportunity to see the stunning four tiered natural wonder by helicopter.

Round off the day with a drink at cocktail hour followed by yet another tasty meal from your on board chef.

Day 7 Islands, Rock Art and Pearls

Launch into the day with a search for the black lipped oyster; not ideal for eating but the creator of the beautiful phenomenon that is the pearl.

A chance to view some perfect examples of rock art similar to that visible at Wandjina and Bradshaw, or make use of your fishing rod in this rich river environment which is teaming with queenfish, giant trevally and mackerel.

Spend the afternoon exploring Voltaire Passage and the many picturesque islands surrounding it. Once back on board, the crew will let you into the secret of creating a Pinctada pearl.

A perfect way to conclude your day; enjoy the on board pearl party. Have a glass of bubbly and a taste of pearl meat as you try on some pieces from the collections of Linneys, Kailis and Kimberley Fine Diamonds. A very decadent way to finish your day.

Day 8 Hunter River

Wake to the magnificent vista of the Hunter River, one of the most remote locations within the Kimberley and therefore a rare treat.

A picturesque and colourful river, turquoise waters lined with green mangroves and luscious rainforests atop pindan red mountains.

Home also to large man-eating crocodiles, the Hunter River is the perfect venue for fishing, mud crabbing, bird watching or simply exploring, where few have been before...

Join an expedition boat and take a hike up to Jackson Falls, or let the helicopter do the hard work for you, as you take the rare opportunity to see the falls from above. Conclude your day with a sunset drink on the beach of Naturaliste Island.

Day 9 Prince Regent River and Kings Cascades

Begin the day with a historic trip to the Phillip Parker King boab tree, where the crew of the Mermaid carved their names, as they passed on their voyage through the Kimberley region in 1820.

Be astonished at the majestic scenery of the Prince Regent River with another chance for the keen angler to catch a fish or two.

The True North will then be maneuvered right under the incredible Kings Cascades so you can be showered by the refreshing water. Take the chance to see the aerial view of the Cascade from above by helicopter.

Continue on to a mouthwatering picnic alongside a billabong in one of the most remote locations possible, then finish off the day with a relaxing meal in the True Norths dining saloon and drift to sleep while you anchor off Camp Creek.

Devote your morning to the exploration of the Sale River. Whether you wish to fish, swim or spot the local wildlife, every option is covered.

Once the tide is high enough, move out of the Sale River and onto the next location; the incredible Montgomery Reef.

Montgomery is a unique eco-system that must be seen to be believed, as 140 square miles of coral reef rises out of the ocean right before your very eyes!

Water cascades over the reef as the tide falls exposing a privileged glimpse of another world! Turtles, dugong, manta rays and every imaginable sea creature abound. Take the helicopter up to put it all in to perspective!

The magnificent Horizontal Waterfalls at Talbot Bay in the Buccaneer Archipelago is created by massive tidal movements. The white water ocean banking up against one side of a narrow cliff passage creates the waterfall effect.

Then, take pleasure in a dip in the unfortunately named Crocodile Creek and follow this with a stroll along the pure white sands of Silica Beach.

Complete the day with a farewell dinner on the True North as you glide past Cockatoo and Koolan Islands, and head down the last stretch of coast, past Cape Leveque and the Dampier Peninsula to Broome.
