Spend the afternoon at Ubirr Rock, and have pristine views of Kakadu National Park.

Day 2 Kakadu to Darwin
Arrive at the stunning Jim Jim falls and observe the towering cliffs that surround you.
Hike to the base of the falls before enjoying a tasty lunch.
Step onboard the National Park operated boat for spectacular views of Twin Falls gorge. Relax on the sandy banks before you trek back to Darwin.

Day 3 Darwin to Katherine Gorge
Spend the day having fun in the beautiful Katherine gorge.
Canoe or cruise the sparkling waters, or get the best view from a helicopter flight over the gorges (all at own expense).Head to Darwin with stops along the way at idyllic Edith Falls and the Adelaide River, home to many crocodiles

Day 4 Katherine Gorge to Tennant Creek

Feel a million miles from anywhere as you explore the peaceful town of Mataranka and immerse yourself in the steamy thermal springs, surrounded by lush tropical forest.

Day 5 Tennant Creek to Alice Springs
See the unsteadily balanced Devils Marbles, a sacred site to its traditional owners.
Learn about the early hardships of bush telecommunications at Barrow Creeks historic Telegraph Station.
Passing the Tropic of Capricorn, stop at Ti Tree for the chance to buy original works of art by Indigenous artists.

Day 6 Alice Springs to Kings Canyon

Day 7 Uluru to Alice Springs
Make a point to wake up early today, or youll miss the epic sunrise at Uluru. Discover the rock and its surrounds with a walk or climb, around the base.
See puzzling rock formations and Aboriginal art sites, and be amazed by the red domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and their spiritual meaning to the Anangu people.
Watch the rugged desert scenery pass you by as you head to Alice Springs.
