DAY 1 Alice Springs - Ayers Rock

Travel south through the picturesque James and Waterhouse Ranges. You have the chance to enjoy a short camel ride at Outback Camel Farm.

On arrival at Ayers Rock Resort enjoy lunch and settle in at camp.

Travel to the majestic Kata Tjuta also known as the Olgas. Enjoy a hike through the 'Valley of the Winds' before returning to camp to witness the sunset over Uluru.

Return to camp for a traditional Aussie meal. Relax around the campfire under starry desert skies.

DAY 2 Ayers Rock - Kings Creek

Begin an exciting morning with breathtaking views of sunrise at Uluru (Ayers Rock), a World heritage listed area.

Travel to the majestic Kata Tjuta also known as the Olgas. Enjoy a hike through the 'Valley of the Winds' before returning to camp to witness the sunset over Ayers Rock.

A chance for the adventurous to tackle the 1.6km climb up Uluru before heading through red sand dune and desert oak country to Kings Creek Cattle Station where optional activities are abundant.

Tonight is an excellent night to swap yarns around the campfire under the beautiful star filled skies of Central Australia while enjoying a hearty bush dinner.

DAY 3 Kings Creek - MacDonnell Ranges

Rise and shine early to travel out to Kings Canyon, a geological jewel nestled at the western end of the George Gill Ranges. Explore the canyon in depth with your informative guide.

  • View the 'Ampitheatre', the 'Lost City', the striking north and south walls and the beautiful 'Garden of Eden'. Travel via the Mereenie Loop Road and on through Tylers Pass, stopping to view Gosse Bluff, a 130 million year old comet crater.
  • Explore Glen Helen Gorge before settling in at your camp site in the MacDonnell Ranges.

    DAY 4 MacDonnell Ranges - Wallace Rockhole

    Enjoy a relaxing day in the Western MacDonnell Ranges visiting Ormiston Gorge, the Ochre Pits and Ellery Creek Big Hole.

    There are some short hikes and during the warmer months, you can go swimming in some of the natural waterholes.

    Continue onto to Wallace Rock Hole Aboriginal Community, home to the Arrernte people.

  • Enjoy a guided tour to learn about their lifestyle, culture and how art was used as a tool to find food and water.
  • Overnight: Wallace Rockhole Permanent Campsite

    DAY 5 Wallace Rock Hole - Palm Valley - Alice Springs

    Experience real 4WD touring today as you travel on dry riverbeds and uneven tracks through the Finke Gorge National Park into Palm Valley.

    Explore Palm Valley. Discover the park's rough red gorges and view ancient stands of palm trees and cycads.

    Enjoy a picnic lunch and then maybe some hiking around the area before realxing on the return journey to Alice Springs.
