On arrival in Adelaide you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this gorgeous 'City of Churches'.
Why not ride Adelaide's historic tram from Victoria Square in the city to the beachside suburb of Glenelg. This evening join your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions for a welcome drink.

Day 2 Adelaide to Flinders Ranges
See the sights of Adelaide on an orientation tour before making your way north and sample some local wines at Sevenhill Cellars, the oldest existing winery in the beautiful Clare Valley.
Travel through the picturesque Flinders Ranges, recognised as one of Australia's national landscapes and into Wilpena Pound, a remarkable natural amphitheatre covering nearly 8,000 hectares.

Day 3 Flinders Ranges to Port Augusta
You have the opportunity to really explore Wilpena Pound in the morning or even take a scenic flight (at your own expense).
Travel through the magnificent scenic experience of Pitchi Richi pass onwards to Port Augusta and visit the Wadlata Outback Centre where you can step back in time to learn about Aboriginal Dreamtime stories and the history of Port Augusta.Overnight: Majestic Oasis Apartments, Port Augusta

Day 4 Port Augusta to Coober Pedy
Visit Woomera; synonymous with the testing of long range missiles and rockets during the Cold War, and the launch and tracking of spacecraft in the early days of the Space Age.
Today, the Woomera Test Range in South Australia is a strategic defence asset used mainly for aerospace test and evaluation activities. It remains the largest land-based range in the world.
Visit the the opal capital of the world, Coober Pedy which is a unique town in the outback where most of the living is done underground, due to the extreme summer temperatures. Visit an underground church and house.

Day 5 Coober Pedy to Ayers Rock
Cross the border into the Northern Territory towards Kata Tjuta National park, famous for its Iconic Uluru or “Ayers Rock”.
Enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sun go down at Ayers Rock, casting a brilliant range of colours over Uluru and the landscape.

Day 6 Ayers Rock
Rise early to join a tour to view sunrise at Uluru. Enjoy a guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole and stop at the informative Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.
This afternoon visit Kata Tjuta and spend some time exploring Walpa Gorge. Take in a magnificent outback sunset at Kata Tjuta with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

Day 7 Ayers Rock to Kings Canyon
Travel to Kings Canyon today. For the energetic, a guided climb to the canyon rim will be rewarded with magnificent views of Watarrka National Park. Or you may prefer to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, an easier walk.
This scenic landscape of rugged ranges, rockholes and gorges acts as a refuge for many plants and animals from the surrounding desert; featuring ancient sandstone walls, sculptured by the elements, rising up 100m to a plateau of rocky domes.

Day 8 Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
Travelling through the red centre of Australia, you will visit the historic Royal Flying Doctor Service and Telegraph Station at Alice Springs. Enjoy a panoramic view of The Alice atop Anzac Hill.
Although Alice may have once been a remote outpost, the second biggest town in the Territory now has all the conveniences of a modern city.

Day 9 Alice Springs
This morning spend time with a local Aboriginal guide. You will learn of life and survival of the Arrente People, including bush food, the search for water and kinship.
Visit the Alice Springs Desert Park. Learn about Australia's unique desert marsupials and reptiles. Continue to Simpsons Gap, a prominent waterhole.
This evening you are invited to join a discovery tour of the magical southern night sky at the Earth Sanctuary World Nature Centre.
Enjoy an outback barbecue dinner and learn from the Falzon brothers,about the sustainable lifestyle they have established. They may even lead you on a sing-along accompanied by the didgeridoo and guitar.

Day 10 Alice Springs to Tennant Creek
This morning, cross the Tropic of Capricorn. Discover the mysterious Karlu Karlu (Devils Marbles). There is time to walk around these precariously balanced boulders that have worn smooth by the harsh elements of nature over many thousands of years.
On arrival in Tennant Creek, join a local guide for a tour of the historic Battery Hill Precinct. Tour an underground mine and experience the life of an early miner. Tonight enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner at the Battery Mine Centre.

Day 11 Tennant Creek to Katherine
Travel across vast outback stations. Visit the historic Daly Waters Hotel, and continue into 'Never Never' country.
Stop at the tropical oasis of Mataranka for a relaxing dip in the thermal springs or stroll through the Elsey Homestead replica, used in the filming of 'We of the Never Never'.

Day 12 Katherine to Kakadu
Join a local guide on a cruise through Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park and then continue deep into Kakadu National Park.
Enjoy a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. Have the opportunity to see a variety of birdlife and with luck, see the feared estuarine crocodile basking in the muddy shallows.

Day 13 Kakadu to Darwin
Stop at Bowali Visitor Centre. The displays here will take you on a journey through Kakadu's varied habitats and landscapes.
Travel to Ubirr and climb to the top of this rocky outcrop for rewarding views. This afternoon travel to Darwin and enjoy a sightseeing tour of this tropical city on arrival.

Day 14 Darwin
Travel to Litchfield National Park to see Florence Falls and the Magnetic Termite Mounds. Return to Darwin this afternoon.
Dine out this evening at Crocosaurus Cove. Enter the world of the awesome Northern Territory saltwater crocodile.
See the largest display in the world of Australian reptiles, a two storey fresh water aquarium, a turtle sanctuary, as well as local Aboriginal art and culture displays.

Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast. You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to connect with your onward flight.
