Day 2 Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta
You have the opportunity to join an early riser tour to view the sunrise at Ayers Rock and then enjoy a guided walk into sacred Mutitjulu Waterhole.
Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and Maruku Arts which brings together the work of hundreds of artists from their homelands and communities in the western desert.
Experience a walk through the Olgas rock formations and the magnificent Walpa Gorge. The rocky track gently rises along an ephemeral stream, passing inconspicuous rare plants and ending at a grove of flourishing spearwood.
Take in the magnificent outback sunset while enjoying a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

Day 3 Ayers Rock to Kings Canyon
A guided climb to the rim of Kings Canyon will be rewarded with views of Watarrka National Park. Or explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, an easier walk.
This scenic landscape of rugged ranges, rockholes and gorges acts as a refuge for many plants and animals. Kings Canyon features ancient sandstone walls, sculptured by the elements, rising up 100m to a plateau of rocky domes. Overnight: Kings Canyon Resort

Day 4 Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
Travelling through to the red centre of Australia, you will visit the historic Royal Flying Doctor Service and Telegraph Station at Alice Springs.
The Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve marks the original site of the first European settlement in Alice Springs. Established in 1872 to relay messages between Darwin and Adelaide.
Complete your day by enjoying a panoramic view of The Alice atop Anzac Hill.

Day 5 Alice Springs
This morning spend time with a local Aboriginal guide and learn of life of the Arrente People, including bush food and the search for water. Visiting Alice Springs Desert Park, learn about Australia's unique desert marsupials and reptiles.
Continue to Simpsons Gap, one of the most prominent waterholes in the West MacDonnell Ranges, with its striking gorges and river red-gum scenery.
This evening You are invited to join a discovery tour of the magical southern night sky at the Earth Sanctuary World Nature Centre. Enjoy an outback barbecue dinner and learn from your hosts, about the sustainable lifestyle they have established.
The Falzon Brothers, Tom and Danny may even lead you on a sing-along accompanied by the didgeridoo and guitar.

Day 6 Alice Springs to Tennant Creek
Travelling north you arrive at mysterious Karlu Karlu (Devils Marbles). There is time to walk around these precariously balanced boulders.
On arrival in Tennant Creek you join a local guide for a tour of the historic Battery Hill Precinct. Tour an underground mine and experience the life of an early miner.
Enjoy a sumptuous barbecue dinner at the Battery Mine Centre.

Day 7 Tennant Creek to Katherine
Travel across vast outback stations. Visit the historic Daly Waters Hotel before continuing on to Mataranka, 'Land of the Never Never'.
On arrival at Mataranka Homestead you can take time to visit the replica of the original Elsey Homestead, used in the filming of 'We of the Never Never'.
Alternatively, you may take the beautiful palm lined walkway for a swim in the famous thermal springs.
Travel on to Katherine, the third largest town in the Northern Territory, often described as the place 'where the outback meets the tropics'.

Day 8 Katherine to Kakadu
Join the local guide on an early morning cruise through Katherine Gorge. You have the opportunity to see wildlife and prolific birdlife. Your cruise through the gorge takes you past sheer sandstone walls and all manner of flora and fauna.
You then continue deep into Kakadu National Park. Join a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. You should see a variety of bird life and with luck may see the feared estuarine crocodile basking in the muddy waters.

Day 9 Kakadu to Darwin
Stop at the Bowali Visitor Centre. The displays here will take you on a journey through Kakadu's varied habitats and landscapes.
Travel to Ubirr and view Aboriginal rock art dating back some 20,000 years. A climb to the top of Ubirr is rewarded with superb views of the surrounding wetlands and escarpment country.
Journey on to Darwin and enjoy a sightseeing tour, including Parliament House, Fannie Bay Gaol, the Botanic Gardens and a visit to the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, which houses stunning permanent collections of Aboriginal Art.

Day 10 Litchfield National Park
Travel to Litchfield National Park. Your first stop is the amazing stand of Termite Mounds, architectural feats complete with arches, tunnels and nursery chambers.
View beautiful Florence Falls from a high vantage point. Visit Tolmer Falls for a magnificent view of the water cascading down to the waterhole below. Venture on to tropical Wangi Falls for a relaxing swim in the large crystal-clear pool.
Dine out this evening at Darwin's Crocosaurus Cove. Enter the world of the awesome Northern Territory saltwater crocodile.
See the largest display in the world of Australian reptiles, a two storey fresh water aquarium, a turtle sanctuary, as well as local Aboriginal art and culture displays.

Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast. You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to connect with your onward flight.
