Take a picninc lunch and explore the Nitmiluk National Park as you leisurely canoe through to the first 3 of the 13 gorges that are calved deep into the sandstone cliffs by the constant flow of the Katherine River over thousands of years.
Encounter many species of birds, fish, flora and native wildlife that call the park home. Enjoy this spectacular natural wonder that is the ancestral home of the Jawoyn aboriginal people whose paintings can be seen along the cliff faces.
Enjoy your picnic lunch after you pull up on the bank. Relax and enjoy a gorgeous swim before your return scenic canoe ride.
Departs: Daily from the Nitmiluk Canoeing Boat Shed at 9.00am.
