Explore the Nitmiluk National Park as you cruise through to the first 5 of the 13 gorges that are calved deep into the sandstone cliffs by the constant flow of the Katherine River over thousands of years.
Encounter many species of birds, fish, flora and fresh water crocodiles that call the park home. Enjoy this spectacular natural wonder that is the ancestral home of the Jawoyn aboriginal people whose paintings can be seen along the cliff faces.
You will delight in a barbeque lunch with fellow travel companions as you enjoy nature at its best.
A scenic 5km walk (some rough) is required so loose clothing, walking shoes and a small day pack are recommended. You have the opportunity to swim, explore or just relax in the shade by the river before your scenic return journey.
Departs: Daily (May to October) from the Nitmiluk Cruises Jetty at 9.00am
Returns: Approx 5.00pm
