Explore the Nitmiluk National Park as you cruise through to the first 3 of the 13 gorges that are calved deep into the sandstone cliffs by the constant flow of the Katherine River over thousands of years.
Encounter many species of birds, fish, flora and fresh water crocodiles that call the park home. Enjoy this spectacular natural wonder that is the ancestral home of the Jawoyn aboriginal people whose paintings can be seen along the cliff faces.
A scenic walk of 2km each way, some over rocks, is required so walking shoes are recommended. You have the opportunity to swim, explore or just relax in the shade by the river before your scenic return journey.
Refreshments will be prepared by your guide as you enjoy nature at its best.
Departs: Daily from the Nitmiluk Cruises Jetty at 9.00am and during peak season at 11.00am and 1.00pm.
