Explore the Nitmiluk National Park as you cruise through to the first 2 of the 13 gorges that are calved deep into the sandstone cliffs by the constant flow of the Katherine River over thousands of years.
Encounter many species of birds, fish, flora and fresh water crocodiles that call the park home. Enjoy this spectacular natural wonder that is the ancestral home of the Jawoyn aboriginal people whose paintings can be seen along the cliff faces.
A scenic walk of approximately 800m each way is necessary so walking shoes are recommended. You have the opportunity to explore or just relax in the shade by the river before your scenic return journey.
Departs: Daily from the Nitmiluk Cruises Jetty at 9.00am, 11.00am, 1.00pm, 3.00pm.
Returns: Approx. 11.00am, 1.00pm, 3.00pm, 5.00pm
