Day 1 Darwin to Katherine
Discover the wonders of Litchfield National Park, including the Magnetic Termite Mounds – a mysterious natural phenomenon with a perfect north-south orientation.
Prepare to be awestruck by the magnificent waterfalls cascading over red cliffs at Tolmer, Wangi, Florence, and beautiful Buley Rockhole.
Enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal clear pools of the waterfall, before continuing to Katherine via the impressive Adelaide River.

Day 2 Katherine to Mataranka
Travel to Elsey National Park and enjoy a swim in the warm turquoise waters of the Mataranka Thermal Pool.
Visit Territory Manor and see a barramundi fish feeding show, Mataranka Homestead and the Elsey Replica – a reconstruction of the first European settlement in the area.
Enjoy a cruise on the Nitmiluk Gorge, and admire the spectacular ochre cliff faces, rock holes and profusion of birdlife.

Day 3 Katherine to Kakadu
Enjoy a scenic journey to Kakadu, via Pine Creek and the stunning Mary River.
Stop en route at the spectacular Gunlom Falls, a series of rocky cascades with a deep pool fringed by pandanus palm and high cliffs. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong, and experience this diverse and sublimely beautiful area and its amazing wildlife.
Look out for huge saltwater crocodiles, which trawl just beneath the shallow waters, and marvel at the abundant birdlife: about one third of Australias bird species are found in Kakadu.

Day 4 Kakadu to Darwin
Rise early to see the Nourlangie Rock in the morning light. This spectacular area features a wealth of Aboriginal art sites.
Visit Ubirr – a huge rock offering panoramic views of the park – and the East Alligator River, renowned for its myriad of wildlife.
Explore the Bowali Visitor Centre and enjoy the informative displays and fascinating exhibits.
Relax and admire the scenery on the road back to Darwin.L
