Day 1 Melbourne - Princetown
Arrive at the coastal town of Torquay. Do a spot of shopping at Australias well-known surf shops, Quiksilver and Rip Curl, before heading to the infamous Bells Beach- a surfers paradise.
Your Great Ocean Road expedition begins here as you wind your way along one of the most impressive coastal roads in Australia. Stop to see some koalas before passing through the seaside town of Lorne.
Discover the magnificent 25-metre high, elevated tree top walk at Otway National Park. End the day watching the sunset over the picturesque Twelve Apostles.

Day 2 Princetown - Grampians National Park
Take time to take some great holiday pictures as you climb down the Gibson Steps for a closer view of the Twelve Apostles.
Explore the western end of Great Ocean Road, including Loch Ard Gorge and the London Bridge, the Bay of Martyrs and Bay of Islands.
If it is the right season, you may be lucky enough to spot a whale at Warrnambool. Travel through country Victoria, arriving at the brilliant Grampians National Park. Challenge yourself with a hike to the top of the pinnacle.

Day 3 Halls Gap - Adelaide
Rejuvenate this morning with a hike at Hollow Mountain and the amazing MacKenzie Falls, where youll experience the breathtaking views that cover the north of the Grampians.
Travel through the farming region of Victoria and into South Australia. Arriving at Bordertown, hopefully you will see a rare White Western Grey Kangaroo. Cross the powerful Murray River, king of Australia's rivers, and wind your way through the scenic Adelaide Hills before arriving into Adelaide City.

Day 4 Adelaide
Spend today exploring Adelaide at your own pace.
Take advantage of the easy accessible public transport system, and visit the numerous historic buildings, museums or the popular Adelaide Zoo.
Do some souvenir shopping, have lunch at a one of the citys trendy cafés or restaurants, before heading back to your accommodation.

Day 5 Adelaide - Quorn
Pass through Clare Valley, South Australias wine region, before reaching Melrose where you can take a short walk across a swinging bridge and enjoy panoramic views from the Mt Remarkable lookout.
Arrive in Quorn; an old-fashioned railway township nestled at the entrance to the Richman Valley. Enjoy a filling lunch before hiking to the top of Dutchman's Stern for amazing 360° views of Quorn, Spencer Gulf and the Flinders Ranges.
Feast on a true Aussie barbeque dinner.

Day 6 Flinders Ranges and Wilpena
Explore the magical landscape of Flinders Ranges.
Discover the wonder of Wilpena Pound, a natural amphitheatre located in a huge stone crater. After lunch, its a short walk to Yourambulla Caves to view Aboriginal rock paintings.
Learn the history of sheep farming in the mid 1800s as you view the remnants of Kanyaka Homestead. Travelling back to Quorn, you might see the shy and elusive Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby on a quiet stroll through tranquil Warren Gorge.

Day 7 Quorn - Coober Pedy
Travelling through Port Augusta come across the small town of Glendambo, where you will visit ancient salt lakes leftover from an inland sea.
Explore the opal-mining town of Coober Pedy.
Enjoy a town tour that includes an opal cutting demonstration and mine tour with the chance to try your luck noodling for opals!

Day 8 Coober Pedy - Uluru
Driving through the rocky desert country, reach Yulara.
Observe an unforgettable Ayers Rock sunset.
Join in the preparation and cooking of dinner at the permanent campsite then consider the option to sleep under the outback stars in a traditional Aussie swag.

Day 9 Uluru - Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon
This morning you must wake early to see the miraculous sunrise over giant Uluru.
Take a walk at the base of the rock, which is preferred by the Anangu traditional owners, instead of climbing it (which is still permitted). Join a guided interpretive walk at Mala.
After visiting Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) head to Kings Canyon for the night.

Day 10 Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
Spend your last day exploring the fascinating Kings Canyon
See the Lost City, the flourishing and ancient Garden of Eden and the steep outcrops of the North and South Walls.
After lunch, relax and enjoy the desert scenery as you travel to Alice Springs.

Day 11 & 12 Alice Springs
Explore Alice Springs at your own pace. Enjoy the year round blue skies and stunning landscapes.Perhaps take a bike ride to the West MacDonnell Ranges for a great photo opportunity.
Continue to discover Alice today as you see its wonderful attractions. Visit Todd Mall, a popular hang out for locals and visitors with world-class Aboriginal art galleries and funky cafes and shops.
You may want to visit the Alice Springs Reptile Centre, where you can see venomous snakes as well as goannas and frill necked lizards.

Day 13 Alice Springs - Banka Banka
Passing the Tropic of Capricorn, stop at Ti Tree for the chance to buy original works of art by Indigenous artists.
Learn about the early hardships of bush telecommunications at Barrow Creeks historic Telegraph Station.
See the unsteadily balanced Devils Marbles, a sacred site to its traditional owners.
If the weather is nice, take a dip in the picturesque waterhole at the camp spot.

Day 15 Katherine Gorge - Darwin
Spend the day having fun in the beautiful Katherine gorge.
Canoe or cruise the sparkling waters, or get the best view from a helicopter flight over the gorges (all at own expense).
Head to Darwin with stops along the way at idyllic Edith Falls and the Adelaide River, home to many crocodiles.

Experience an uplifting start to the day as you see the flowing waterfalls of Litchfield National Park.
View the spectacular Mary River Wetlands.
See the abundance of wildlife in this area; keep your eyes out for lurking crocodiles on a private river cruise.
