Day 1 Adelaide - Kangaroo Island

Journey south along the Flerieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis and enjoy a scenic ferry transfer over to beautiful Kangaroo Island.Kangaroo Island is home to divine beaches and a wonderful selection of wildlife as well as some amazing rock formations.

Walk at Hogs Bay looking for wildlife like wallabies, seals or dolphins.

Stop at Pennington Bay to climb Prospect Hill for great views. Discover the secluded beaches at Stokes Bay.

Head to Rocky River to see more wildlife such as kangaroos and koalas. Discover the Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and Cape du Couedic where you have the chance to see a colony of fur seals.

Visit the Hanson Bay Koala Sanctuary and try some platypus spotting.

Explore the sand dunes at Little Sahara.

Head to Seal Bay to walk amongst Australian sea lions.

Call in at Vivonne Bay, the home of crayfishing on the island, before your scenic return journey.
