Day 1 Darwin - Mary River

Travel to Fogg Dam Nature Reserve to view a variety of wildlife.

Head to the pristine Mary River Wetlands for even more wildlife viewing.

Enjoy an afternoon crocodile cruise on the Mary River.

Arrive at Point Stuart and be treated to an Aboriginal Corroborree, learning about the local culture and way of life.

Overnight: Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge

Day 2 Mary River - Kakadu National Park

Discover the Mamukala Wetlands.

Head to Jim Jim Falls, deep within striking escarpment country, to take a walk to the base of the falls.

Journey to Twin Falls, swimming up the rugged gorge to relax on the sandy bank.

Drive on to the camp for dinner.

Overnight: Overnight Kakadu Camp

Day 3 Kakadu National Park

Visit Ubirr and discover the ancient Aboriginal history.

  • Learn about rock art dating back an estimated 20,000 years.
    • Journey to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge).

    You have the chance to do some hiking or enjoy a dip in the plunge pools before your scenic journey to Gunlom to watch the vivid colours of the tropical sunset.

    Overnight: Gunlom camp site

    Day 4 Kakadu National Park - Katherine Gorge

    Enjoy a fantastic day of hiking and swimming.

    Your day begins at Gunlom Falls as you climb to the top of the falls to enjoy the stunning views.

    Travel to Edith Falls where you can take dip.

  • Head to your permanent camp near Katherine Gorge.
    • Overnight: Katherine Gorge camp site

    Day 5 Katherine Gorge - Darwin

    Spend half a day canoeing or cruising the spectacular Katherine Gorge (at your own expense).

    After lunch, relax in the clear waters of Katherine Hot Springs or hike to Robin Falls (depending on the season).

    Return to Darwin.

    Day 6 Adelaide River - Darwin

    Head to the beautiful Litchfield National Park.

    Spend the day exploring Florence, Tolmer and Wangi Falls.

    Discover Buley Rockhole and the huge famous magnetic termite mounds.

    After a fun day you head back to Darwin.
