Day 1 Darwin - Kakadu National Park

Head to the greatest of World Heritage wilderness areas, Kakadu National Park.

Your first destination is Barramundi Gorge where you can enjoy swimming in the ancient sandstone gorge on the edge of the Escarpment.

After a picnic lunch you head to Nourlangie Rock where your guide will show you magnificent Aboriginal rock art and scenic views.

Discover the lightning man Namarragon and Almudi the rainbow serpent, elements of the world's oldest surviving religious tradition.

Day 2 Kakadu National Park

Rise for an early start to depart on an adventure to the beauty of country restricted to 4WD vehicles.

Your first stop is Twin Falls which is accessible only by water so be prepared for an adventure.

After lunch continue on your 4WD trek through rainforest to reach the crystal clear waters of Jim Jim Falls.

Enjoy a wonderful and relaxing evening around the campfire.

Day 3 Kakadu National Park - Arnhemland

Start the day with a sunrise cruise to see native birdlife and possible a lurking saltwater crocodile.

Discover the colourful rock art and spectacular scenery of Ubirr Rock, the world's oldest art gallery.

Drive to Jabiru Airport to board a charter flight to Mt Borradaile in Arnhemland.

Explore Mt Borradaile and set up camp before enjoying another campfire dinner with fellow travel companions.

Day 4 Arnhemland

Arnhemland is an untapped wilderness. Discover the beauty of the Aboriginal rock art and occupation shelters.

Marvel at thousands of paintings that detail the spiritual beliefs and daily routines of the original inhabitants.

Be fascinated as you learn about bush tucker or just watch the birdlife and wonderful surrounds.

This is a great opportunity to take amazing photographs of diverse beauty.

Overnight: Mt Borradaile Campsite

Day 5 Arnhemland - Darwin

Take binoculars and walk through the bush. You have the chance to spot some of the 275 species of birds and insects that inhabit the area.

Laze around the swimming hole and soak up the sun.

You will depart in the late afternoon for your flight back to Darwin airport.

Make your own way from Darwin Airport to accommodation.
