Day 1 Brisbane to Fraser Island

Enjoy an orientation tour of the city and learn about opals.

Journey north along the Sunshine Coast to Hervey bay for the ferry crossing to Fraser Island.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome drink and dinner with the Tour Director.

Day 2 Fraser Island

Experience Fraser Island during a half day 4WD tour.

Marvel at the majestic rainforest at Central Station.

Visit Lake McKenzie, a beautiful fresh water lake surrounded by white sandy beaches.

Day 3 Rockhampton

Return to the mainland, and stop at Langmorn Station, a fully operational cattle station where you will enjoy afternoon tea at the homestead, a restored ?Queenslander? built in 1873.

Cross the Tropic of Capricorn and continue to Rockhampton.

Dine out in the evening, on crocodile of course, at the Koorana Crocodile Farm.

Home to around 3,000 crocodiles, your guide will take you on a spotlight tour, where a visit to the pens will reveal crocodiles as small as 150 grams and as large as 750 kilograms.

Day 4 Brampton Island

Travel north to the marina at Mackay, Australia?s sugar capital.

Join a catamaran for your cruise to Brampton Island, a large and beautiful National Park Island located at the southern end of the Whitsunday Passage.

Enjoy dinner with your fellow travellers at the Bluewater Restaurant.

Day 5 Brampton Island

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Brampton Island.

There is an opportunity to take an interpretive nature walk around the island or take sailboarding and catamaran classes.

Play beach volleyball, tennis, golf or you could go snorkelling.

Perhaps just laze by the fresh or saltwater pools.

Day 6 Townsville

Head north to the tropical city of Townsville.

Enjoy a guided tour of Billabong Sanctuary where you can interact with many Australian animals.

You can cuddle a koala, hold a wombat, and if you?re brave enough, there?s snake and crocodile handling too!

The afternoon is free for you to relax at the hotel or perhaps take a stroll along The Strand.

Day 7 Atherton Tablelands

Climb the high tropical plateau known as the Atherton Tablelands, where lush rainforests, waterfalls and lakes abound.

Visit Millaa Millaa Falls and the famous Curtain Fig Tree.

Enjoy a guided cruise on the serene crater of Lake Barrine, before making your way to Port Douglas.

Day 8 Port Douglas

Take advantage of a full free day in Port Douglas.

There is an opportunity to explore the World Heritage rainforest, enjoy a walk along Four Mile Beach, or just sit back and relax by the pool.

Day 9 Great Barrier Reef

Join the Reef Magic catamaran and cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef.

Enjoy a reef education presentation and view the spectacular corals and tropical fish from the underwater observatory and the semi-submersible craft.

There is the opportunity to go snorkelling and view this natural living wonder up close.

Enjoy a tropical buffet lunch before returning to Cairns.

Day 10 Kuranda

Board the Kuranda train for an historic journey taking you through the scenic countryside behind Cairns.

Arrive at the cultural rainforest village of Kuranda with time to wander through the various stalls of the colourful Kuranda Markets.

Board the Skyrail Cableway that takes you above the canopy of the tropical rainforest of the Barron Gorge National Park.

Visit the famous Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and experience the history, creative and dance theatres where the legends of the Dreamtime are brought to life.

Day 11 Cairns

You will be transferred to Cairns Airport for your onward flight.
