Day 1 Devonport - Bicheno

Leave Devonport and discover Launceston's Cataract Gorge.

Head south through the picturesque scenery to the historic township of Ross.

Enjoy a hike in the Fingal Valley and explore secluded beaches with the chance for a swim (weather permitting).

Take an optional evening tour to see the little penguins nesting (at own expense).

Overnight: Overnight Bicheno Hotel or Motel

Day 2 Freycinet - Port Arthur

Experience the stunning Freycinet National Park.

Tackle the challenging but worthwhile climb up Mount Amos for fantastic views over Wineglass Bay.

You have the chance to hike to Wineglass Beach via the lookout for a very refreshing swim.

Travel south to Port Arthur where you have the opportunity to take an optional famous ghost tour.

Overnight: Port Arthur Motel or Hostel

Day 3 Port Arthur - Hobart

Explore the interesting Port Arthur Historic Site which served as a penal colony from 1830 to 1877.

Take a boat cruise around the harbour.
Visit the Remarkable Caves.

Visit a variety of sites on the Tasman Peninsula before arriving in Hobart late afternoon.
