Day 3 Kakadu - Darwin
Experience some thrilling 4WD action as you journey to Jim Jim Falls
Hike to the base of the falls before continuing on to Twin FallsEnjoy the impressive scenery at the remarkable gorge and observe the powerful falls as you tour on the National Park operated boat and boardwalk.

Day 4 Darwin - Katherine Gorge
Departing Darwin, stop for a break at the Adelaide River. Look out for crocodiles which are often seen here.
Spend the day having fun in the beautiful Katherine Gorge.
Canoe or cruise the sparkling waters, or get the best view from a helicopter flight over the gorges (all at own expense).

Day 6 Tennant Creek - Alice Springs
Learn about the early hardships of bush telecommunications at Barrow Creeks historic Telegraph Station.
See the unsteadily balanced Devils Marbles, a sacred site to its traditional owners.
Passing the Tropic of Capricorn, stop at Ti Tree for the chance to buy original works of art by Indigenous artists.

Day 7 & 8 Alice Springs
Explore Alice Springs at your own pace.
Enjoy the year round blue skies and stunning landscapes. Perhaps take a bike ride to the West MacDonnell Ranges for a great photo opportunity.
Continue to discover Alice today as you see its wonderful attractions.Visit Todd Mall, a popular hang out for locals and visitors with world-class Aboriginal art galleries and funky cafes and shops.
You may want to visit the Alice Springs Reptile Centre, where you can see venomous snakes as well as goannas and frill necked lizards.

Day 9 Alice Springs - Kings Canyon & Uluru
Explore fascinating Kings Canyon.
See the Lost City, the flourishing and ancient Garden of Eden and the steep outcrops of the North and South Walls.
Pass Mt Connor and Curtin Springs cattle station on the way to Uluru. Enjoy a once in a lifetime chance to sleep under the outback stars in your swag.

Day 10 Uluru and Kata Tjuta
Wake early to see the miraculous sunrise over giant Uluru.
Take a walk at the base of the rock, which is preferred by the Anangu traditional owners, instead of climbing it (which is still permitted). Join a guided interpretive walk at Mala.
Visit The Olgas to learn more about the spiritual significance of this remarkable landmark.
End the day with a glass of Australian Sparkling wine and watch a memorable sunset over Uluru.

Day 11 Uluru - Coober Pedy
Travel through the jagged desert country to arrive at the opal-mining town of Coober Pedy.
Go deep underground to see how these mines are supplying the world with the majority of quality opal gems.

Day 12 Coober Pedy - Quorn
Continue to explore the sites of Coober Pedy and see an opal cutting demonstration on a mine tour, with the chance to try your luck looking for opals!
Journey to ancient salt lakes that are remnants of an inland sea, before stopping at the small town of Glendambo.
Arrive in Quorn; an old-fashioned railway township nestled at the entrance to the Richman Valley. Feast on a true Aussie barbeque dinner.

Day 16 Adelaide - Grampians National Park
Enjoy pretty views of the Adeliade Hills as you cross the powerful Murray River.
Pass through some small South Australian country towns on your way to Grampians National Park.
