Day 3 Kakadu - Darwin

Experience some thrilling 4WD action as you journey to Jim Jim Falls.

Day 4 Darwin - Katherine Gorge

Departing Darwin, stop for a break at the Adelaide River.

Day 6 Tennant Creek - Alice Springs

Learn about the early hardships of bush telecommunications at Barrow Creeks historic Telegraph Station.

Before crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, stop at Ti Tree for the chance to buy original works of art by Indigenous artists.

Day 7 & 8 Alice Springs

Enjoy 2 free days to explore Alice Springs at your own pace (all meals and activities at your own expense).

Visit Todd Mall, a popular hang out for locals and visitors with world-class Aboriginal art galleries and funky cafes and shops.

Day 9 Alice Springs - Kings Canyon and Uluru

Explore fascinating Kings Canyon.

Day 11 Uluru - Coober Pedy

Travel through the jagged desert country to arrive at the opal-mining town of Coober Pedy.

Day 12 Coober Pedy - Quorn

Continue to explore the sites of Coober Pedy and see an opal cutting demonstration on a mine tour, with the chance to try your luck “noodling” for opals.

Journey to ancient salt lakes, which are remnants of an inland sea, before stopping at the small town of Glendambo.

Arrive in Quorn; an old-fashioned railway township nestled at the entrance to the Richman Valley. Feast on a true Aussie barbeque dinner.
