Day 1 Darwin – Kakadu

Head out of Darwin and towards the spellbinding Kakadu.

Day 2 Explore Kakadu

Many spectacular areas of Kakadu are easily accessible in this World Heritage listed area. Flood plains, billabongs, woodlands and rock plateaux.

Day 3 Kakadu - Katherine

Take a cruise through Katherine Gorge today, explore the town.

Overnight: All Seasons Katherine

Day 4 Katherine – Kununurra

Head west from the Northern Territory. Take in the remarkable Hidden Valley.

Day 5 Kununurra Area

Plenty to do in the spectacular east Kimberley: Lake Argyle, Ord River, Argyle Diamond Mine, Ord River Irrigation System and Plantations, take a flight over the Bungle Bungles or fast boat trip up the Ord to Lake Argyle dam wall.

Or why not take a drive to El Questro Station for the day. It contains some splendid scenery, including the Zebedee Falls oasis.

Day 6 Kununurra – Bungles

Today continue through the phenomenal Kimberley wilderness from the prosperous town of Kununurra.Arrive in the Purnululu National Park.

Day 7 Explore the Bungle Bungles

Rise early today - much to see. 4WD into the Bungle Bungle (Purnululu) National Park and explore the ‘honey comb domes’.

Day 8 Bungles – Fitzroy Crossing

Continue the journey towards the west’s first gold mining town of Halls Creek

See the old ruined township and the extraordinary China Wall.

Explore the famous Geikie Gorge National Park. Join the local park rangers for a cruise on the Fitzroy River through the huge gorge and spot local wildlife - including sawfish, stingrays and freshwater crocodiles.

Day 9 Fitzroy Crossing - Broome

Travel through the west Kimberley from this remote town on the banks of the mighty Fitzroy River.

Go inside the huge Prison Boab Tree, visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Through Cattle Country to the important and historic ‘beef’ town of Derby.Arrive in Broome with time to catch a Cable Beach sunset.
