Day 2 Mary River - Kakadu

Climb to the top of a gravel lookout for wonderful views over the Nardab floodplain.
Enjoy an invigorating swim in the plunge pools after a hike to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge). Spend the night camping in the fantastic Kakadu National Park

Day 3 Kakadu - Darwin
Experience some thrilling 4WD action as you journey to Jim Jim Falls.
Hike to the base of the falls before continuing on to Twin Falls.Enjoy the impressive scenery at the remarkable gorge and observe the powerful falls as you tour on the Kakadu National Park operated boat and boardwalk.

Day 4 Darwin - Katherine Gorge
Departing Darwin, stop for a break at the Adelaide River. Look out for crocodiles, which are often seen here.
Spend the day having fun in the beautiful Katherine Gorge.
Canoe or cruise the sparkling waters, or get the best view from a helicopter flight over the gorges (all at own expense).

Day 5 Katherine Gorge - Tennant Creek
Enjoy a refreshing drink at the well-known Daly Waters Pub, an outback roadhouse and watering hole for travellers from far and wide.
Feel a million miles from anywhere as you explore the peaceful town of Mataranka and immerse yourself in the steamy thermal springs.
See where Australias first international airport used to lie.

Day 6 Tennant Creek - Alice Springs
Learn about the early hardships of bush telecommunications at Barrow Creeks historic Telegraph Station
See the unsteadily balanced Devils Marbles, a sacred site to its traditional owners.
Passing the Tropic of Capricorn, stop at Ti Tree for the chance to buy original works of art by Indigenous artists.

Day 7 Alice Springs - Kata Tjuta and Uluru
Have the chance to get up close with camels at the Outback Camel Farm where you can choose to ride one of these amazing giants (own expense).
Enjoy a Valley of the Winds hike, as you pass amazing scenery at Kata Tjuta and discover secrets of the historic landform.
Arrive at Uluru and witness a fascinating sunset before curling up in your sleeping bag under a sky filled with sparkling stars.

Day 8 Uluru - King Canyon
Wake early to see the beautiful sunrise over Uluru.
Enjoy a walk around Uluru's base, or climb to the top if you prefer. Have an understanding of the land and its stories at the Cultural Centre.

Day 9 Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
Take a hike to the outstanding Kings Canyon rock formations.
Walk through the Amphitheatre, the Lost City, the lush and ancient Garden of Eden and the North and South Walls and be mesmerised by the enormity and beautifulness of this amazing landform.
Enjoy a scenic trip back to Alice Springs.
