Day 1 Alice Springs - Kings Canyon

Head due west avoiding the hustle and crowds of the main highways. Your outback adventure begins with a first hand insight into Aboriginal culture and their relationship to the land at Wallace Rock hole.

Further down the road negotiate the 4WD track into the comet impact crater called Gosse Bluff.

Enjoy a picnic lunch beneath the rugged battlements of this 140 million year old phenomena.

Traverse outback dirt roads through the Mereenie Wilderness Area, arriving late afternoon at the foot of the George Gill Range.

Day 2 Kings Canyon - Uluru

Today your guide will introduce you to the natural beauty and many activity options of the Kings Canyon area. This visually stunning part of Central Australia will intoxicate your senses.

The energetic will find the hike around the canyon rim a stimulating choice offering views for hundreds of kilometres. Alternatively, experience at close hand the biodiversity and prolific wildlife of the area on the canyon floor.

Enroute to Uluru we enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the Australian Outback. This afternoon, visit the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre before discovering the base of the world's most famous monolith.

Enjoy a “champagne sunset” of tantalising Australian cuisine and sparkling wine as the setting sun takes centre stage over the incomparable rock called Uluru.

Day 3 Kata Tjuta - Alice Springs

Rise early this morning to catch the first rays of light on Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). A chance to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this majestic formation away from the masses as the colours and shapes transform with the changing light.

Walk with your guide between the massive domes some 200 metres higher than Uluru and learn of their cultural and ecological significance.

Return to the resort for lunch (own expense) and an opportunity to investigate the natural history displays within the Visitor’s Centre prior to your return to Alice Springs.
