Rotary Park


In Rotary Park, a rainforest tract has been regenerated in the middle of the city. There are 3 kilometres of pathways with rare species of rainforest plants clearly marked.
 

Richmond River Historical Museum


Upstairs in the old council chambers is the Richmond River Historical Society Museum which features some fine colonial furniture made of local cedar and other pioneering relics, geological specimens, Aboriginal artefacts and a photographic collection.
 

Tucki Tucki Koala Reserve


15 kilometres from Lismore, set on 4 hectares is Tucki Tucki Koala Reserve. It was established by local residents to preserve a habitat for the disappearing marsupials.
 

Boat Harbour Nature Reserve


The Boat Harbour Nature Reserve, 6 kilometres north east of the Lismore CBD has a resident bat colony and was also a base camp for timber getters working in the late 19th century. A paved track leads to a viewing platform overlooking the river.
